Candolim Beach is one of North Goa’s famous beaches offering a peaceful

straight stretch of sand running along the Arabian Sea that starts
at Fort Aguada and ends at Chapora Beach.

It is 13 km away from Goa’s Capital Panjim and Thivim Railway
station is the nearest railway station located 19 km from Candolim
beach.
When visiting Candolim Beach a must see is the Fort Aguada which was
established by the Portuguese in 1612, also the Church of St
Lawrence known for its gorgeous views Candolim is also the birth
place of Abbe Faria.,who is considered to be the Father of Hypnotism
and one of the Great Goan Freedom Fighters.
Candolim too offers a variety of shacks and bars where you can
unwind. Besides sunbathing and Swimming in Candolim you can also
enjoy the variety of water sports like waterskiing, parasailing,
wind surfing etc or avail any of the boating excursions that are
offered by many boat operators.
